Hanson’s World of Science!

I hope all of you have a wonderful few weeks on your Winter Break.

Just wanted to let you know that I have uploaded to edline. However no actual grades are in. I do however have assignments “checked in”. You can see this by the “yes” in the grade book.

6th graders, I am sorry I didn’t get a chance to grade all of your fabulous presentations. I will do that first thing when I get back from break. Great job by the way they were interesting to watch. I can tell that many of your put tons of great work time into those project.

Welcome to the blog for Mrs. Hanson’s science classes. I hope your are excited to start another school year. I know it is hard to wake up early again, and think about actually having homework. I promise you that this year will be so much fun you wont even notice the time flying by.

Take sometime to surf around and familiarize yourself with the blog. On here you will find a ton (yes a 2000lbs worth) of information. If you are ever unsure about what is going on in the class the next day you can use the calendar for your class. I have also included a science glossary if you need some help remember what some of those crazy science terms (coolest part of this glossary is it’s bilingual!).

This blog is also meant to be a place for students to give their ideas about what is going on in class or on something they have found interesting online. I do ask that you never use your full name if you do choose to comment, and use your discretion when surfing the internet. Not everything online is appropriate nor accurate.
